Established in 1961, Orion Area youth Assistance (OAYA) is a non-profit 501(c((3) organization that offers professional casework services and conducts prevention programs for youth between the ages of 5-17 and their families who reside in the Lake Orion Community School district.

Additionally, a volunteer Board of Directors works with our caseworker to plan and sponsor enriching programs and scholarships for young people and families in the Lake Orion Community School district. OAYA’s programs are committed to positively impacting the long-term growth and development of all youth in the community through prevention, education, support, and celebration.

2nd Chance Instruments Logo.png

A new program at Orion Area Youth Assistance. 2nd Chance Instruments is an instrument loan program created to remove financial barriers to music education programs by providing musical instruments to Lake Orion students in need.
