OAYA

Orion Area Youth Assistance (OAYA) operates on a unique inter-governmental collaborative.  The following four agencies all sponsor OAYA to ensure we can meet our mission of strengthening youth and families through community involvement.  The Oakland County Circuit Court - Family Division provides a full-time caseworker to OAYA to provide short-term counseling and casework services.  Lake Orion Community Schools provides the OAYA office space, utilities, and additional supports as available.  The Charter Township of Orion and The Village of Orion provide funding dollars to help cover operational expenses as well as assistance with camp and enrichment scholarships.  Any additional programming provided by OAYA is covered by fundraising and donations.  We are so thankful to our program sponsors for their support!
